Hi there my Friends at HairDesignerTV, and Fellow Hairdressers,
So whats new I hear you say?
I am now working on new content for my 1st Editorial course for 2017.
We have one place left if you want to come to my private studio in the Hamptons.

I have always believed that you have to ‘learn how to move hair before you remove hair’!!
One of the great aspects of creative styling in the editorial world, is that if the style is not working it is a shampoo away from change.
I find this liberating, as fear of failing can be a great barrier to being more creative.Lets face it, we all came into this business to be creative, but some how along the journey a grumpy client, or the challenges of life can crush our creative process. That is why being a life long learner is vital in todays competitive market.
During my 3 day class this is what I will be teaching.
1. Consultation for more creative design
2. How to design to face shapes
3. 3 wheels of fashion
4. The importance of a great design foundation
5. How to create a beautiful shape
6. How to relax your work for a lived in look, that still looks lovely and holds its shape!!
7. Designing into the Mirror
8. How to photograph your work and get better exposure on Instagram (12 important things to do)
In our workshop we will go beyond basic tricks and classic techniques, and dive deeper. Today we are all self publishing our work, in fact some of us are a marketing PR machines. It has become very demanding to build our brand on Social media, where the rules and its effectiveness change week by week. One thing that does withstand the passage of time and whats trending is a great story! For example “The power of a make over- feeling beautiful from the inside out” The story of “One girl 3 looks” . This and more we explore during my workshops. I hope you can join me.
Best wishes Vivienne Mackinder.
