My series is based on The 21 irrefutable laws of leadership –  A book by NY Times Best seller John Maxwell.  should you enjoy this journey you and your team may take the online course

The interaction between every leader and follower is a relationship

and all relationships either

add to or subtract from a person’s life.

Hi there my friends,

This week we enter the area of Addition Law #5 – adding value to others lives and I think this describes a great hairstylist and colorist truly defining our craft.

But is that always the case in the salon with our clients and team members? Is there room to improve and if we could should we? YES YES YES.

Technology while it is useful and a part of our lives it can pull us away from others.   Have you ever felt invisible, when a client or friend was more interested in their phone than you?
If you can’t give some evidence of making things better for your clients, team mates and family, then you are probably a sub-tractor.Interesting facts about the law of addition = 90% of all people who subtract do so unintentionally.  And, When a leader subtracts and doesn’t change his/her ways, they go from subtracting to division. In contrast 90% of all people who add value do so intentionally. Why?  When you add value your efforts multiply.

Relationships are built on listening and caring.

“We add value to others when we truly value others.”

I Challenge you this week to put the Law of Addition  into practice – Love to hear from you

Please share this series and add value to others today.

Best wishes
