Hi there my friends, For those of you diligently following my blog, you may be wondering, what happened to Viv? I’ve been on holiday!!!

When one steps away from the demands of life, we get a new prospective. At this time I am questioning, how much growth in my company took place while I was away? As the leader were my team able to manage with out me? The answer is yes, I have a great team all striving for the same goal, in fact they do better when I am not around to distract them with another IDEA.

So lets look at the 20th law in our series the law of Explosive growth. When you keep doing the right thing and eventually it clicks, and explosive growth is a natural occurrence.

I remember in the early days of my career I struggled a lot in EVERYTHING, I had no confidence, I kept questioning when will it click? One day after so much practice (years) it did click and then there was Explosive growth. What I do know about our craft is that you can not microwave mastery, it needs time to marinate and then one day you see explosive growth.  Its taken 30 years for me to be an over night success.

As a salon owner you will know that team work makes the dream work, and being able to delegate, to a well trained person is Key, but often letting go can be tough.  Explosive growth can only take place when the team is empowered.  But leaders who develop leaders are the true winners.
