Hi there my friends,
Over the years I have had the opportunity to stand on stages around the world from performing to 4000 international stylist in Rome (within the Grounds of the Vatican). To a stadium in Milan, where the week before Bruce Springsteen performed. From Australia to London and NYC and so many more countries, What an honor it has been to travel the world presenting my craft.
Is it easy? NO!
Is it scary? YES!
Have I had disasters on stage? OH YES!
In fact I have fallen off two stages, and experienced some crazy situations where I though I was going to die!
I must confess, doing beautiful hair on stage, while entertaining and educating the audience is very hard. It is even harder when you have to do it all super fast so that the audiences stays engaged. It’s even harder in todays competing market with the mindset of ‘1 minute video on Instagram’, that in reality took an hour to do!
IT IS AN ART
You may be asking…why is Vivienne on a ladder?
No, I am not changing a light bulb, rather talking about climbing the ladder to success.
From on Stage to on Camera – With over 700 videos on HairDesignerTV.com I have had a lot of experience working on camera, which is totally different then on stage work but it’s equally as important.
It is a challenge to talk to the lens of a camera and get no reaction back, it’s truly like talking to yourself, (which in my old age I seem to do very well).
For todays hairdresser who want to find variety from working behind the chair it is an interesting opportunity to explore both worlds.
So, why do I tell you all of this?
I will be training a very talented stylist and salon owner who has assisted me both backstage and on stage in the art of presenting on stage. I need an audience for Jason to work with.
Will you join us for a fun afternoon in the Hamptons at my studio?
I am only looking for 10 people to keep the experience very intimate.
If you are interested in being one of my 10 guests please contact my sister Paula today at [email protected]
Jason will be demonstrating a style or two and I will show you what to do and what not to do.
You will learn:
- The power of great communication skills
- How to teach, engage and entertain.
- How to sell a hairstyle.
- How to create excitement and inspire people.
Would you like me to train you for on stage and on camera work? If so, please contact Rebekah Hope.
