I have been a long admirer of Nicholas French work, he is so skilled in many aspects of the craft with exquisite classics technique. The designs that many know him for is his award winning NAHA collections. When Nicholas invited me to Academy retreat SkyFall, and asked if we could collaborate artist to artist I said YES!!!

In the business of life, the very thing that drew us to hairdressing – “the joy of creativity”, can get very easily crushed. Creativity is the lifeline and beauty of our craft. As commercial Artists, we need to develop our brand and style without losing our Creativity. With this comes passion and vision and the ability to communicate an idea and get buy-in. Without this we are just poor artists with an idea. In this workshop we look at creativity on a commercial and high art level.

For me creativity is a way of life, my best ideas have been born through a mistake. Nicholas often asks “When was the last time to did something new for the first time”? It takes courage to explore the unknown and in this workshop, we will create a safe-haven to play and have FUN to explore the unknown with fellow artists.
